Two special trips have been organised during 2024 to raise funds for the Kingswear Castle Rebuild Appeal during KC’s Centenary Season. All proceeds of these sailings go directly to the appeal.
- Saturday 3rd August: Leave Dartmouth Ferry Pontoon at 6pm for a 1 hour 45 minute early evening fund raising cruise to the Dart river mouth then upriver towards Stoke Gabriel. Return at 7.45pm.
Bring your own picnic supper to enjoy during the cruise. (On return it is hoped the steamer will call at Kingswear after landing her Dartmouth passengers).
- Sunday 15th September: Leave Dartmouth at 4pm for a 3½ hour fund raising trip up river to Totnes berthing at Steamer Quay for around 30 minutes. Return at 7.30pm.

Numbers will be strictly limited on each cruise to maximum of 140 passengers. There is a bar available on board for drinks, teas, coffees, etc.
Dart Pleasure Craft provide Kingswear Castle free of charge and cover all operating costs for these trips. For this we are extremely grateful.
