For this month here is a short reminder of KC’s happy days on the Medway. It is difficult to believe now just how much the world has changed since those balmy days when we returned KC to full passenger carrying service in 1985. There was no internet or email of course. Indeed it was hard to get a single ‘phone line for the office from what was then called the General Post Office (GPO). Colour printing for promotional material existed but had been far too expensive for a small business like ours. By 1988 that was starting to change. This was the first full colour pic I used in KC’s first full colour brochure in 1988.
Kingswear Castle returned to service in 2023 after the first part of a major rebuild which is designed to set her up for the next 25 years running on the River Dart.
