KC Returns to Service

KC returned to service on Tuesday 25th July, after completing the first part of her major rebuild, taking the 11am Harbour Cruise from Dartmouth.

Alongside the Dartmouth pontoon.
Loading.
Ready to go.
The varnish all looks tip top.
Under the awning.
The sun shone on the sparkling varnish well for a bit anyway until the showers started.
The new emergency escape hatch from the aft saloon surrounded by all the new decking.

Kingswear Castle returned to service in 2026 after the second part of a major rebuild which is designed to set her up for the next 25 years. The Paddle Steamer Kingswear Castle Trust is now fund raising for future rebuilds. You can read more and how you can possibly help here.
