As the scale of the necessary work for Phase 1 of KC’s rebuild has unfolded as the aft part of the ship has been dismantled her return to service this summer has been pushed back and is now expected to be late June.

She will then be rostered to run harbour cruises from Dartmouth throughout the summer every day except Fridays.

The rebuild is set to extend over three winters with completion expected to coincide with KC’s centenary season in 2024. It is anticipated that the whole project will cost in excess of one million pounds.
If you would like to help us by contributing to the Rebuild Appeal to keep KC in service for present and future generations to enjoy than you can do so by sending a cheque to: Paddle Steamer Kingswear Castle Trust, Fund Raising, PO Box 9565, Weymouth DT4 4HT or you can donate through this website here.
