Produced by Kay Hutchison and Richard Dikstra from Belle Media, the programme includes interviews with Paul Merrington and Sereny Damon from the Dartmouth Steam Railway and River Boat Company, as well as with John Megoran from the Paddle Steamer Kingswear Castle Trust, and sets out KC’s place in the history of excursion paddle steamers, why she needs a rebuild and her long term future running on the River Dart when this is complete. The programme will also go out on regional radio networks

Kingswear Castle returned to service in 2023 after the first part of a major rebuild which is designed to set her up for the next 25 years running on the River Dart. The Paddle Steamer Kingswear Castle Trust is now fund raising for the second phase of the rebuild. You can read more about the rebuilds and how you can help if you can here.
