    With KC afloat once again naval architect Geoff Wilford, accompanied by Maritime and Coastguard Agency surveyor Simon Judge, conducted a Heel Test to check the ship’s stability. A pendulum was set up on the foredeck to measure how much the ship listed with weights representing passengers moved about to different positions.

    The Maritime and Coastguard Agency conducted running trials with KC and her crew during July 2023 for the revalidation of her passenger certificate.
